The Genesis of GhostKiss™

In our pursuit to craft screen-accurate props, technical pentest credentials, and collector badges that exhibit flawless authenticity, we discovered a significant market gap: standard flat badge layouts easily look artificial because they lack true dimensional security layers. To fix this, our workshop dedicated months to intensive research and development—testing thermal limits, resin depths, and light scattering behaviors.

The result of our rigorous engineering phase is IRLab GhostKiss™, our proprietary embedded security watermark technology designed to closely mimic high-security access clearance structures.

Subtle or Tactile Configuration

GhostKiss™ layers are designed around how an asset responds to changing ambient light. Depending on your design profile and intended use, GhostKiss™ can be ordered in three distinct formats:

1. The Subtle Security Watermark: Hidden from a glancing view, this option reveals a faint, semi-translucent internal graphic seal only when the badge is tilted at an angle against a direct light source. Excellent for modern, high-clearance military or intelligence-style prop designs.
2. Visible Slightly Tactile: The perfect middle-ground for custom builds. This option provides enough visual clarity to catch the eye instantly, paired with a soft, refined physical texture. It is clearly visible, yet elegant, and the "slight touch" provides a satisfying, premium physical sensation that proves the card isn't just a flat, mass-produced plastic sheet.
3. The Tactile Watermark: This configuration changes how the card physically feels. It forms a distinct, physically tactile frost layer on your credential graphic. The custom watermark is immediately visible and physical to the touch, providing a commanding sense of authority and multi-layered credential manufacturing.

Universal Availability: Because it was designed entirely in-house, the custom GhostKiss™ security layer is fully integrated into our fabrication workflow and is available for both our **Rigid PVC Plastic Cards** as well as our **Laminated Card Stocks**.

Advanced Alternatives: HoloKote® Security Features

For operations demanding complex optical patterns or specific classic corporate badge properties, we offer two alternative security configurations:

Custom HoloKote® Integration: We have the capability to program custom, frosted security images directly into your credential's clear coat. However, unlike our in-house GhostKiss™ technology which is ready to print immediately, custom HoloKote matrices require an external administrative pipeline.

⚠️ Production & Order Delay Note: Because each custom HoloKote watermark is cryptographically tied to a specific printer, the layout files must be formally ordered, uploaded, and put through a multi-stage vetting process. The file undergoes an automated system review followed by a manual human inspection for clarity and safety validation before the secure print key is released.

Because of this necessary backend review—and the potential for unexpected processing holds if a design is flagged or denied by the system—selecting the Custom HoloKote option will introduce a noticeable delay in your badge processing and shipping timeline.

Holographic Security Stickers & Foils: If you need a striking multi-colored flash immediately without the production delay of specialized matrices, we can integrate **Holographic Stickers and Laminate Overlays** over your credential profile. These add an undeniable high-tech or international-pass aesthetic that shifts beautifully across the color spectrum.
